Introducing Honor Earbuds X9: Premium TWS with IP54 Rating and 42-Hour Battery Life Now Available in China

The Honor Earbuds X9 true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds were unveiled in China on Wednesday. Available in two color variants, these new earbuds feature active noise cancellation (ANC) technology. The Honor Earbuds X9 are fitted with 12.4mm drivers and boast an IP54 rating for protection against dust and water. They are claimed to offer as much as 42 hours of battery life, including that provided by the charging case. Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 5.3, and the earbuds come equipped with touch controls.

The Honor Earbuds X9 are priced at CNY 299 (approximately Rs. 3,500) and can be purchased in China through the Honor online store. These earbuds are available in Blue and White colors. Currently, there is no information regarding their international release.

Honor Earbuds X9 Features

The Honor Earbuds X9 include 12.4mm drivers and deliver spatial audio effects along with 49dB active noise cancellation technology. They utilize Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity and support AI-powered noise reduction.

Regarding battery performance, the Honor Earbuds X9 claim a maximum usage time of nine hours on a single charge, thanks to the 45mAh battery in each earbud. The accompanying charging case is equipped with a 500mAh battery and charges through a USB Type-C port. It is asserted that the earbuds can achieve up to 42 hours of total playback time when combined with the charging case. They also offer fast charging capability, with a 10-minute charge said to yield up to three hours of playtime.

Honor has integrated a capacitive sensor and a Hall sensor in the Honor Earbuds X9. These earbuds carry an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

The touch controls on the Honor Earbuds X9 allow users to manage music tracks, answer calls, and activate the noise cancellation feature. Additionally, they provide a smart connection option for swift pairing. Each earbud measures 33.31×23.65×20.73mm and weighs 5.3g, while the charging case measures 57.95×54.05×25.09mm and weighs 37.2g.
