Insider Reveals: Fallout 3 Remaster Still in Development, but Fans Will Have to Wait Longer

Now that the release of the updated The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is just around the corner, gamers are wondering about the status of a similar remaster for Fallout 3, which was also mentioned in leaked Microsoft documents in 2023.

The insider Nate the Hate has provided some insight on this matter. During a discussion on former Twitter, he stated that the remaster of Fallout 3 is still in development, but it will take a while before we actually see it.

Additionally, journalists from The Gamer proposed another theory. They noted that while all release timelines in the leaked documents are outdated, the overall schedule for the mentioned titles remains largely unchanged. The launch of the Fallout 3 remaster was indicated to occur after The Elder Scrolls VI. Considering that the sixth installment of the ‎Elder Scrolls series entered active development only in 2023, shortly before the release of Starfield, fans may have to wait several more years for news about the remaster.
