Gritsyuks Second NHL Goal Leads New Jersey to Overtime Victory Against Colorado

In Newark, at the Prudential Center, another regular season game of the National Hockey League took place, featuring the New Jersey Devils and the Colorado Avalanche. The match concluded with a 4-3 victory for the home team in overtime.

Russian forwards Arseniy Gritsyuk and Valery Nichushkin were among those who found the net. For Gritsyuk, this goal marked only his second career score in the NHL. He skillfully battled along the boards to take the puck from Arturi Lehkonen, then received a pass from a teammate before hitting the back of the net. Nichushkin, on the other hand, recorded his fifth goal of the current season. Brock Nelson’s goal at the 54th minute allowed the Avalanche to tie the game and push it into overtime. In the extra period, the home team clinched the win thanks to Jack Hughes’ second goal of the match.
