Gorshkov Reflects on Osinkins Departure: Time Will Reveal What Krylia Sovetov Has Lost

Zenit defender Yuri Gorshkov, who previously played for Krylia Sovetov, shared his thoughts on Igor Osinkin‘s departure as head coach of the Samara team.

«I learned about Igor Osinkin’s exit from Krylia a day before the announcement was made. I was in Samara during that time. I called him, wished him good luck, and offered my support. He has contributed so much to this club. I believe that in time, people will truly realize what the club has lost.

Of course, Osinkin still had a lot to offer Krylia. Every year, despite challenges and the departure of key players, Osinkin delivered results. Over these four years in the RPL, Krylia never found themselves in relegation playoffs. Is that a measure of success? I think so. He deserves immense respect! I expressed my gratitude to him, not just from myself, but on behalf of all the guys. I hope to see him at a new club,» Gorshkov stated in an interview with Championship correspondent Ilya Nikulnikov.
