Google Gemini побил рекорды скачиваний благодаря вирусному инструменту Nano Banana Translation: Google Gemini Breaks Download Records Thanks to Viral Tool Nano Banana

The Google Gemini app has ascended to the top of the App Store rankings, dethroning ChatGPT for the first time in nearly three years.

The significant surge in popularity can be attributed to Nano Banana – an internal tool for image editing and generation.

This model enables users to upload their own photos and modify various elements through prompts, such as background, clothing, hairstyle, and pose. One of the popular applications involves transforming images of people or pets into 3D figurines.

Nano Banana has become a viral tool, with users flocking to try out the service. Google’s Vice President, Josh Woodward, announced that the app attracted 23 million new users and generated over 500 million images in just a few days.

The digital figurines resemble collectible models scaled at 1:7, displayed on transparent acrylic stands. They are often placed beside packaging boxes and computer screens showcasing 3D modeling software.

The artificial intelligence accurately captures facial features, clothing details, and poses with great precision.

Nano Banana represents the third major trend in AI-generated portraits for 2025. In March, ChatGPT’s GPT-4o initiated a wave inspired by Studio Ghibli.

In April, the Barbie Box challenge emerged, where individuals transformed into plastic dolls within packaging, complete with accessories like miniature laptops and coffee mugs.

There are other tools available for creating trendy images. Seedream4 from Alibaba, launched just days after Google’s model, provides comparably high-quality results, sometimes with even better consistency in complex poses.

Flux Kontext offers an open-source solution and lacks content restrictions.

It’s worth noting that in August, Google released its Pixel 10 smartphone series, focusing heavily on artificial intelligence technologies.
