Fritz Expresses Desire for Shorter Tennis Season to Spend More Time with Son

The fifth-ranked tennis player in the world, American athlete **Taylor Fritz**, shared that his busy schedule leaves him little time to spend with his son, Jordan.

“I wish the season were shorter for many reasons, and one of the biggest is my son. Whenever I return home, I do everything I can to maximize the time I have with him. I could bring him along with me, but there are factors that prevent that from happening. I would prefer an easy solution to this, but it doesn’t exist. I just need to do my best to spend as much time as possible with my son when I’m not competing. Sometimes we connect over FaceTime while I’m traveling,” Fritz said during a press conference.

Earlier, Fritz advanced to the Round of 16 at Wimbledon 2025, where he defeated Spanish player Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, who is ranked 27th in the world. The match concluded with a score of 6-4, 6-3, 6-7, 6-1.
