Flamengo Fans’ Bus Overturns en Route to Argentina, Leaving 16 Injured

A bus carrying Flamengo fans en route to Buenos Aires overturned on the highway near Barra Mansa, resulting in injuries, according to reports from Globo.

Emergency services, including teams from the operational management center, the fire department, and the federal highway police, arrived at the scene. The police reported that 16 individuals were injured.

«The Flamengo football club has been informed about the accident involving the bus transporting fans heading to Buenos Aires. They have reached out to Barra Mansa’s mayor, Luis Furlani, who promptly provided access to the municipal hospital for the injured. The club has also contacted the Fire Brigade’s Command and is in direct communication with the Rio de Janeiro Fire Department, overseeing all on-site measures. The bus was headed to Buenos Aires, where Flamengo is scheduled to face Racing in the Copa Libertadores semifinals on Thursday, October 30.
