First Episodes of the Superhero Strategy Game Dispatch Are Now Live

Veterans of Telltale Games, now part of AdHoc Studio, have launched their inaugural project – a narrative-driven superhero action-strategy game titled Dispatch. In this game, players are tasked with guiding a team of former supervillains as they undertake various missions.

The game draws inspiration from animated series, prompting the developers to structure it into multiple episodes in order to maintain that format. The release schedule is structured as follows:

The protagonist is superhero Robert Robertson, better known as Mecha-Man. During a confrontation with his nemesis, he loses his piloted mech and, subsequently stripped of his superpowers, is forced to seek new employment. This leads him to a position as a dispatcher, responsible for managing a team of ex-supervillains.

In addition to its strategic elements, Robertson’s journey includes office life and non-linear interactions with a diverse cast of characters. Players are informed that their choices will have lasting impacts on the storyline. The ultimate goal is to restore the mech suit, rejoin the ranks, and seek revenge.

Dispatch is available for PC via Steam and PlayStation 5, featuring a Russian text localization. Before making a purchase on Valve’s platform, players can still try out the demo, which has garnered over three thousand reviews with an impressive «overwhelmingly positive» rating of 98%.
