Ebba Andersson Overcomes Illness After Tour de Ski: Ready to Train Again

Six-time world champion, Swedish skier **[Ebba Andersson](https://www.example.com/tags/30541-ebba-andersson/)**, experienced an illness following the conclusion of the Tour de Ski 2025/2026. Andersson secured fourth place in the multi-stage ski event, while the championship title went to American skier Jessica Diggins.

«I think I caught a cold somewhere, but I’m not exactly sure where. I’m feeling well now and my health has improved. I fell ill right after the Tour de Ski and had to isolate myself for a week. I had to find ways to keep myself entertained during that time, but now I’m back and healthy. I’ve recently resumed training, and my heart rate is at an appropriate level, so I’m not overly concerned about my preparation plan for the Games. In fact, this week of downtime may have actually benefited me after not being in the best condition during the Tour de Ski,» Andersson told SVT.
