Dispatch Attracts 2 Million Players, Blending Interactive Film and Management

AdHoc Studio celebrated another achievement as their superhero comedy  Dispatch attracted 2 million players.

Earlier this month, the new title surpassed one million copies sold. In the latest announcement, the developers shifted their focus from sales figures to user numbers, implying that the 2 million figure includes those who tried out the demo version available on Steam.

The game tells the story of an unlucky hero who must serve as a dispatcher for a superhero agency. The protagonist is tasked with leading a team of reformed villains. AdHoc has crafted a blend of interactive cinema and simple management gameplay, where we send our charges on missions while taking into account the special skills of the operatives.

Dispatch consists of eight episodes, all of which are now available on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5. Our reviewer, Alexey Likachev, awarded the game a rating of “Amazing.” According to him, the creators from Telltale have produced an interactive series that embodies the finest traditions of the now-extinct studio.
