Darkest Dungeon II Celebrates Two Years with Special Anniversary Edition for PS5 and Switch

The Canadian studio **Red Hook** and publisher **Skybound Games** have **announced** a physical anniversary edition of the dark roguelike **Darkest Dungeon II**. This announcement coincides with the game’s two-year anniversary on May 8. The aptly named **Anniversary Edition** is now available for pre-order on **Amazon** for $99.99 and is set to release in the fourth quarter.

This special edition will launch on both PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, and in addition to the game disc, it will include a selection of physical and digital bonuses.

Here’s what purchasers can expect:

Additionally, buyers will receive three DLC codes (available only for ESRB regions).

The anniversary celebrations don’t stop there. On May 9 at 3 PM PT (May 10 at 1 AM Moscow time), **Red Hook** will host a live stream on Twitch, where developers will play the updated version of the game, answer questions, and share their future plans.

Furthermore, on May 7, the second module of the new Kingdoms mode, titled Secrets of the Coven, will be released on PlayStation 4 and 5. Xbox and Switch will receive the update later, by the end of the month.

As a reminder, in “Kingdoms”, the project has returned to its “roots”: the team of heroes moves between “rooms”, which now serve as taverns, settlements, and other locations featuring encounters with dragons, random events, resources, or bosses. The campaign is divided into three modules, each focusing on a specific faction.
