CZ предсказал растущий интерес к ИИ-трейдингу после успеха DeepSeek Translation: CZ predicts rising interest in AI trading following DeepSeeks success

Former Binance chief Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has predicted an increase in the popularity of trading that utilizes artificial intelligence.

“DeepSeek is outperforming its competitors in the sphere of AI trading. How does it even function? I had always believed that trading strategies yield profits only when you possess a unique approach that surpasses others and is not used by anyone else. Otherwise, you are merely buying and selling simultaneously with the crowd,” he wrote.

Zhao acknowledged that widespread usage of the same AI model could potentially affect price movements—both upward and downward—due to its «aggregated purchasing power.»

CZ reacted to a post by Amber Group advisor Lao Bai, who highlighted DeepSeek’s impressive performance in the nof1 lab’s AI trading tests.

“This seems far more substantial than the AI-memes of last year’s Goat/Ai16Z. Could it be that artificial intelligence combined with cryptocurrencies has finally discovered the right pathway to soar? If you look closely, every strategy incorporates take-profit and stop-loss levels,” he remarked.

Bai noted that he himself does not support futures trading. He suggested that those who engage in this area should take a cue from neural networks and clearly outline their exit conditions before opening a position.

Currently, the majority of AI models are primarily optimistic about the growth of the cryptocurrency market, the expert emphasized.

The nof1 team has initiated an experiment to assess the investment capabilities of popular models. In this test, the six top neural networks are trading cryptocurrencies with real money—each starting with a capital of $10,000.

DeepSeek is currently in the lead, followed by Grok. ChatGPT and Gemini are trailing behind.

In the future, the company plans to hold competitions between real traders and AI, as well as introduce its own agents focused on finance and trading.

Previously, a student from rural Oklahoma enabled ChatGPT to manage $100, significantly outperforming the market in terms of returns.
