Closed Beta Testing for Western Versions of Where Winds Meet Set to Launch in May

At the end of last year, the developers from **Everstone Studio**, with support from **NetEase**, launched their new action RPG, [Where Winds Meet](https://stopgame.ru/game/where_winds_meet). Initially, the game is available exclusively on PC and only in China, with plans for a broader release on more platforms in the West later this year. Today, the creators [opened applications](https://act.neteasegames.com/activity/3sSsSg/3aPyBU?lang=en&jm_track=03) for closed beta testing, which will take place on PC and PlayStation 5 from May 16 to 19.

Unfortunately, the beta is limited to four regions: the USA, Canada, South Korea, and Japan. However, testers will be allowed to record videos and take screenshots, so we can expect new gameplay demonstrations to emerge online. It’s important to note that progress made during this testing phase will not carry over to the full version of the game.

To recap, in terms of gameplay, **Where Winds Meet** is a souls-like title set within a Chinese fantasy world, inspired by the late medieval period of the Ten Kingdoms. The story revolves around a **wandering swordsman**, who can master various martial arts and side professions with unique abilities as they progress. The gameplay emphasizes spectacular battles in the finest traditions of wuxia.

The Western versions of **Where Winds Meet** are set to be released for PC (via [Steam](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3564740/Where_Winds_Meet/) and [Epic Games Store](https://store.epicgames.com/p/where-winds-meet-58a176)), PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android, but will not feature Russian localization.
