Capcom Assures Enhanced Optimization for Resident Evil Requiem Over Monster Hunter Wilds

After the release of its financial report, Capcom held a Q&A session with investors. Following the disappointing technical performance of Monster Hunter Wilds, there is significant concern in the community about whether similar issues will arise with Resident Evil Requiem.

These worries are not unfounded, as both games utilize the RE Engine. However, Capcom is confident that Resident Evil Requiem will avoid encountering serious technical difficulties.

During the same event, Capcom expressed its sales expectations for Resident Evil Requiem. The company’s analysts predict that the initial sales of the upcoming title will surpass those of Resident Evil Village. To recall, the eighth installment of the series sold over three million copies within just four days.

Additionally, the announcement of Resident Evil Requiem has reportedly boosted the sales of other titles in the Resident Evil franchise over the past six months, Capcom noted. You can check the updated sales figures for the studio’s games in this article.
