Bitget реагирует на мошенничество: увольнение менеджера и предупреждение пользователей Translation: Bitget responds to fraud: managers dismissal and user warning

The cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has terminated its business development manager for the CIS due to fraudulent activities. The company made this announcement via Telegram.

According to the exchange, Koryak had been soliciting victims to transfer funds to a Bitget user ID that he personally controlled. He misrepresented his personal account as the exchange’s wallet to receive funds under this scheme.

Upon the revelation of the scheme, the employee admitted to the fraud. Bitget reported that he urged victims not to escalate the matter and promised to refund the money, but later stopped communicating altogether.

The first complaint was received in early October 2025. Bitget issued notifications regarding the increase in fraudulent activity to warn its users.

The statement confirmed that Koryak’s employment contract has been terminated. The company has sent him a legal demand to cease his illegal activities and return the funds.

The exchange expressed its readiness to collaborate with law enforcement agencies to assist affected users in reclaiming their assets. If sufficient evidence is provided, the company may offer advance compensation. All complaints are subject to authenticity checks to prevent duplicates and fraudulent claims.

Bitget encourages users to report any violations, which can be done anonymously via whistleblowing@bitget.com.

Previously, on-chain investigator ZachXBT uncovered a scheme that resulted in the theft of $3 million in XRP from an American’s wallet.
