Bayern Coach Vincent Kompany: The Team is Already Hungry for the Next Match

The head coach of Bayern Munich, Vincent Kompany, commented on his team’s defeat in the fifth round of the Champions League group stage against Arsenal (1:3).

«I hope we’ll face them again. We’ll see what happens next time. The Champions League is not decided right now. We have to honestly acknowledge that Arsenal was the better team this time. It’s something we need to fix immediately. However, I have a feeling that the players are already eager for the next match,» Kompany’s words were reported by Bayern’s official website.

The German side currently sits in third place in the Champions League standings, having earned 12 points after five matches in the group stage.
