Audi Unveils Concept C: A New Design Philosophy Driven by Radical Simplicity

Audi has unveiled the Concept C, a concept car that embodies the brand’s new design philosophy. The designers at Audi have reimagined the appearance of their vehicles, creating a fresh visual language based on the idea of «Radical Simplicity,» as described by the company’s creative director, Massimo Frascherra.

The Audi Concept C is a two-seater electric roadster featuring a retractable roof, showcasing a sporty minimalism and sleek lines. One of the key aspects of this new design is the front headlights, which consist of four horizontally arranged elements; these will become the digital signature for future Audi models. The design team drew inspiration from the 1936 Auto Union Type C, as well as the third-generation Audi A6.

«The way we create our cars defines our company. Clarity is the philosophy and compass that will guide Audi into the future. It’s time to pick up speed. We are focused on what truly matters to set new standards for design and quality,» stated Audi’s CEO Gernot Döllner.

Technical specifications for the Audi Concept C have not been revealed. The vehicle will also be showcased at the International Motor Show in Munich, taking place from September 9 to 14.
