Aruhstamyans Insights on Juan Carlos Carcedos Potential Appointment as Spartak Moscow Head Coach

Football commentator Nobel Arustamyan shared his thoughts on the potential appointment of Juan Carlos Carcedo as the head coach of Moscow’s Spartak, who currently leads the Cypriot club Paphos. It was previously reported that the board of directors of the red-and-whites had approved the candidacy of the 52-year-old coach.

“Carcedo’s Paphos is a team competing in the Champions League. Sure, it’s the Cypriot league, but he’s won both the Cup and the Championship with a team that was quite average at the start. This year, however, he managed to take them into the Champions League group stage, progressing through all four qualifying rounds, and in the group stage itself, they’ve already earned, what, six points?

What are we actually talking about here? This is a solid achievement, a fantastic result for a team from the Cypriot league. So, I think he’s a very interesting coach in that respect. The only thing is that Spartak, as an organization, doesn’t seem to be well-structured at this point. He would arrive under a lot of pressure from the fans during the season. I mean, literally, he might get critiqued for refereeing decisions again.

This isn’t just about coaching skills; it also involves how he manages the team and his psychological approach. That’s a whole different matter,” Arustamyan remarked during an episode on the YouTube channel “Comment.Show.”
