Apple Brings Cutting-Edge AI Features to Vision Pro with visionOS 2.4 Update

Apple has announced on Monday the release of visionOS 2.4, which integrates Apple Intelligence-based AI features into the Apple Vision Pro. This update also introduces new spatial capabilities and an Apple Vision Pro app for the iPhone.

With Apple Intelligence on the Apple Vision Pro, users will have access to writing tools that leverage AI for rewriting, editing, and summarizing text. Additionally, features like Image Playground and Genmoji will enable users to create unique AI-generated images and emojis.

Furthermore, users can utilize natural language search in the Photos app to find specific images simply by describing them. Vision Pro users will also have the ability to create a «memory movie» using their photos and videos centered around certain themes, thanks to the new Apple Intelligence functionality launching today.

visionOS 2.4 also brings support for prioritized mail messages, email summaries, Image Wand in Notes, prioritized notifications in the notification center, and notification summaries.

The initial set of Apple Intelligence features is available to users whose devices are set to American English and have Siri enabled.

In terms of new spatial experiences, Apple is launching a new app called Spatial Gallery, giving users access to a library of spatial content across various subjects including art, culture, nature, sports, and entertainment. Apple has stated that the app will be regularly updated with new content.

The new Apple Vision Pro app for the iPhone allows users to perform a variety of tasks, such as queuing apps for download, accessing information about Vision Pro, and discovering tips to enhance their experience. The app features a Discover page showcasing recommendations for new Apple Vision Pro capabilities, including popular apps and games.

Additionally, Apple unveiled new Apple Intelligence features today, including «Priority Notifications,» designed to help users manage their notifications by prioritizing important alerts and minimizing distractions from less critical ones on the user’s lock screen.

Moreover, the tech giant is expanding access to Apple Intelligence in the EU and rolling out support for new languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.
