The Realme GT 7, which has been listed on various certification and benchmarking platforms, has recently surfaced in yet another leak suggesting an imminent launch. This leak reveals several significant specifications of the device. It is anticipated to complement the Realme GT 7 Pro, which was announced in China in November 2024. Additionally, another leak has pointed out several noteworthy features of the purported Realme GT 8 Pro. As of now, the company has not officially confirmed the launch dates for either model.

Expected Launch Schedule and Features of Realme GT 7

The Realme GT 7 is expected to be driven by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, based on a Weibo post from leaker Digital Chat Station. The leaker also mentioned that the forthcoming smartphone may feature a battery exceeding 7,000mAh in size, noted as a «7X00mAh battery.»

As per the leaker’s insights, the standard Realme GT 7 might support 100W fast charging through wired connections. The device is suggested to showcase a flat display design and a more streamlined and lighter profile compared to the current Realme GT 6, which has a weight of 206g and is 8.43mm thick.

In a comment made under the post, the leaker indicated that the Realme GT 7 is likely to debut in China come April. It is worth mentioning that the existing Realme GT 6, which launched in July 2024, features a micro-curved display, is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and has a 5,800mAh battery supporting 120W charging.

Simultaneously, another leaker named Smart Pikachu hasreported on Weibo that the Realme GT 8 Pro may be equipped with a yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. It is expected to be fitted with a flat OLED screen offering 2K resolution and a 7,000mAh battery.

The Realme GT 8 Pro is anticipated to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for biometric security. In terms of photography capabilities, it is rumored to include a periscope telephoto lens. Further details regarding the device or its potential launch date are currently unavailable.
