The Poco F7, the next smartphone to join the company’s F series, has made an appearance on Geekbench before its official launch. The listing on the benchmarking platform suggests that the device will come with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and will include 12GB of RAM. Previously, Poco hinted at the release of the Poco F7 through a dedicated microsite on Flipkart, while earlier reports indicate that the phone might feature a 50-megapixel dual rear camera and a robust 7,550mAh battery.

Poco F7 Benchmark Indicates Device Will Feature 12GB of RAM

A recent benchmark entry for the Xiaomi 25053PC47G on Geekbench (via Abhishek Yadav) provides insights into the expected Poco F7. According to the listing, the device achieved 1,937 points on the single-core test and 6,021 points on the multi-core test, revealing further specifications of the forthcoming handset.

The core configuration listed on Geekbench suggests that it will feature an octa-core processor with two cores operating at 2.02GHz, two cores at 2.8GHz, three cores at 3.01GHz, and one core at 3.21GHz, indicating it will utilize the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

The benchmark entry also confirms that the Poco F7 will have 12GB of RAM. Himanshu Tandon, the head of Poco India, recently indicated that the company plans to unveil a «powerful device with a flagship-grade chipset» featuring 12GB of RAM, likely referring to either the Poco F7 or the Poco F7 Ultra.

In the meantime, the company is preparing for the launch of its next Poco F series smartphone. Earlier this week, a microsite on Flipkart hinted at the impending arrival of the Poco F7 in India. Similar to its predecessor, the Poco F6, the new smartphone is also expected to be available for purchase via this e-commerce platform.

Recent sources suggest that the Poco F7 might be a rebranded version of the Chinese Redmi Turbo 4 Pro model. It could be outfitted with a dual rear camera system boasting 50 megapixels, and the Indian edition of the device is said to come with a substantial 7,550mAh battery.
