Another Confirmation: Deyjan Radonjic Set to Take the Helm at Zenit St. Petersburg

The esteemed site Basketball Sphere has confirmed the information previously reported by the Montenegrin outlet RTCG, announcing that Dejan Radonjic will be the new head coach of St. Petersburg’s Zenit.

According to available information, Dejan has already reached an agreement with the blue-white-blue team, although the specifics regarding the duration of his contract have not been disclosed. However, RTCG previously stated that a contract with Radonjic is expected to be finalized before the end of the current championship season.

Dejan began his coaching career in 2005 when he took the helm at Buducnost, where he remained until 2013. He then moved to Crvena Zvezda for five years. From 2018 to 2020, he coached Bayern Munich before returning to the Serbian club. His coaching portfolio also includes a stint at Panathinaikos, and his most recent team was the Turkish club Bahçesehir.
