Ak Bars Dominates Avtomobilist in Fourth Match, Tying Series

In Kazan, the «Tatneft Arena» hosted the fourth match of the first round of the Gagarin Cup 2025 playoffs in the Eastern Conference of the Kontinental Hockey League. The local team, Ak Bars, faced off against Yekaterinburg’s Avtomobilist. The game concluded with a decisive score of 7-2 in favor of the Kazan team.

The players from Ak Bars started the match on a high note, scoring four goals by the 11th minute. After the fourth goal, the starting goaltender for Avtomobilist, Vladimir Galkin, was replaced by Yevgeny Alikin. Scoring for Kazan were Stepan Falkovsky, Alexander Barabanov, Ilya Safonov, and Nikita Dyniak. In the second period, both teams netted two goals apiece, with contributions from Anatoly Golyshev, Alexander Sharov, Nikita Dyniak, and Alexander Barabanov, who achieved a double. The seventh goal for the Kazan squad was tallied by Artyom Galimov in the third period.

As a result, the series is now tied at 2-2. The fifth match is scheduled to take place in Yekaterinburg on April 3rd.
