Airtel Unveils Groundbreaking Unlimited International Roaming Plans for Indian Travelers

Airtel has rolled out two new international roaming packages for Indian users, providing both voice calling and data services in 189 nations. These options come with validity periods of 10 and 30 days. Customers on Airtel postpaid plans can also take advantage of in-flight services through one of the newly introduced packages. Both plans are reported to offer unlimited data access and are said to activate automatically when the user arrives in a foreign location.

Airtel Launches International Roaming Packages Featuring Unlimited Data

Airtel has revealed two new international roaming plan choices for postpaid subscribers in India. These options are available on their official website and were first identified by the tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings). The plans are priced at Rs. 2,999 for 10 days and Rs. 3,999 for 30 days, with both options reportedly including unlimited data.

Users opting for the Rs. 2,999 and Rs. 3,999 plans will benefit from 100 hours of usage per day, covering both incoming and outgoing calls. The more expensive plan additionally provides in-flight connectivity, which includes 100 minutes of outgoing calls, 100 complimentary SMS messages, and 250MB of data. The in-flight perks are valid for a duration of 24 hours.

Airtel points out that postpaid users taking advantage of the Rs. 2,999 and Rs. 3,999 international roaming plans will not need to switch SIM cards to access their roaming features. The benefits will automatically kick in as soon as they arrive at their international destination.

In related news, Vi, another telecommunications competitor in India, has recently launched international roaming packs for the Gulf region, which include both prepaid and postpaid options. These plans are valid in Saudi Arabia and the UAE and come with validity periods of 20 and 40 days.
