AI Takes on 30-50% of Tasks in Salesforce, Revolutionizing Work Dynamics

Salesforce, a software development company, has automated a significant portion of its operations using artificial intelligence. This was announced by the company’s CEO, Marc Benioff, as reported by Bloomberg.

“AI currently handles between 30% and 50% of tasks at Salesforce,” he specified.

Neural networks are utilized for software development and customer service, which reduces the need for hiring additional staff.

Salesforce offers an AI product that claims to automate customer support without human intervention. Benioff noted that the accuracy of this tool has reached 93%.

“We all need to recognize that artificial intelligence can perform tasks that were once handled by humans. This allows us to shift towards more valuable work,” the speaker stated.

In the 2000s, Salesforce revolutionized the software sales industry by introducing a solution for online customer management. The company is now integrating this new cutting-edge technology.

Previously, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella mentioned that 20-30% of the company’s code is generated by artificial intelligence.

In August 2024, British trade unions warned about the risk of millions of job losses due to advancements in AI.
