Corporations Poised to Control 50% of All Bitcoins by 2045, Expert Predicts

By the year 2045, companies holding Bitcoin reserves are expected to possess 50% of the total supply of the first cryptocurrency, which amounts to 21 million coins. This forecast was made by Jess Myers of Moon Inc.

The expert pointed out that the overall value of global assets is around $1,000 trillion, with Bitcoin currently accounting for just 0.2%.

According to Myers, half of the world’s capital is essentially searching for superior means of savings. This is why there has been a noticeable transition over the past two years from fiat assets (like bonds and currencies) to hard assets (such as gold and Bitcoin).

However, a significant portion of institutional finance faces restrictions that prevent direct investment in the leading cryptocurrency.

«They need to find returns. This is where companies with Bitcoin treasuries come into play,» he noted.

Myers estimates that MicroStrategy will maintain its leadership by holding half of corporate cryptocurrency reserves, totaling 10.5 million BTC valued at $140 trillion, by 2045. This would make Michael Saylor’s company «undoubtedly the most valuable in world history.»

According to BitcoinTreasuries, MicroStrategy has accumulated 576,230 BTC, which is valued at $62.7 billion.

It’s worth mentioning that Bernstein has predicted that corporate Bitcoin reserves could rise to $330 billion by 2029.
