Cozystack Joins Cloud Native AI Landscape: Run AI Applications on K8s and VMs with Open Source PaaS

The CNCF team has added the open platform Cozystack to the Cloud Native AI (CNAI) Landscape. This recognition highlights the efforts of the Ænix team and the open-source community in developing a platform that not only enables the deployment of managed services but also incorporates the capability to run AI workloads within cloud-native infrastructure.

We appreciate the users and contributors who have assisted in implementing and testing this functionality with their workloads.

Cozystack is an open-source platform with GPU support that facilitates the creation of a bare-metal cloud for rapid deployment of managed Kubernetes, database-as-a-service, applications-as-a-service, and virtual machines based on KubeVirt. The platform allows users to deploy services like Kafka, FerretDB, PostgreSQL, Cilium, Grafana, Victoria Metrics, and others with just a click. Cozystack is a CNCF Sandbox project.

Cozystack can already pass through GPUs to Kubernetes clusters and virtual machines. On May 22, Andrey Kvapil, the creator and lead developer of Cozystack, will host a webinar on the CNCF YouTube channel about running AI applications on the platform. He will cover the tenant system, demonstrate how to pass through GPUs, and as an example, run the Stable Diffusion model.

To explore GPU functionality, check out the relevant section of the documentation: https://cozystack.io/docs/operations/virtualization/gpu.
