Publisher **Humble Games** and developers from **Studio Pixanoh** have officially announced the release date for their action-RPG **[Town of Zoz](#)**. The game is set to launch on PC and consoles in early 2026. Alongside this announcement, the developers revealed new gameplay footage showcasing scenes, enemies, and dungeons.

The protagonist of **Town of Zoz** is Ito, a shaman and cook who returns to his hometown following a letter from his parents. Ito intends to assist his family with their farm and restaurant; however, their peaceful life soon unravels. He discovers that beneath the charming exterior of Zoz lie ancient secrets and a dark history that now threatens the fate of the entire town.

Gameplay revolves around exploring the surroundings, engaging in combat, and interacting with local residents. Ito utilizes his magical abilities and trusty machete to defend against foes, dodge attacks, and survive in perilous areas. Throughout his journey, he is joined by companions with unique skills that aid him in battles and enhance his gameplay style.

Culinary arts play a significant role in **Town of Zoz**. Food helps build relationships with townsfolk and reveals deeper aspects of their personalities. Favorite dishes strengthen friendships, while homemade treats provide temporary boosts to attributes and facilitate future hunts.

Every inhabitant of Zoz carries a personal story and hidden fears. Ito can assist them in confronting their pasts by combining combat skills with magical recipes. Along the way, he will encounter legendary heroes, quirky merchants, members of the Bumbola team, leaders of a mysterious cult, and even the Soul Smith, who can imbue weapons and tools with special properties.
