Semak: Our Priority is to Focus on Ourselves, Not on Supporting Baltika Against Krasnodar

The head coach of Zenit, **[Sergei Semak](https://www.example.com/tags/582-sergej-semak/)**, addressed whether he and his team will be supporting Baltika in the 15th round of the Mir RPL match against Krasnodar, which takes place today, November 9. The blue-white-blue team drew 1-1 with Krylia Sovetov in their previous encounter in the RPL’s 15th round.

**“Here’s a bonus question: will you be cheering for Baltika in just a few hours?”**
— “Our primary focus is on ourselves, aiming to accumulate as many points as possible, and then we’ll see. Every team will have points lost. The key question is how many each team will drop. The team that loses the least will likely play more solidly in defense, giving them a better chance of winning the championship,” said Semak, as reported by Zenit’s press service on the official website.

Currently, the Saint Petersburg club holds third place with 30 points from 15 matches. Krasnodar sits in second place with 32 points from 14 games. Leading the standings is CSKA, which has earned 33 points in 15 matches.
