Yana Burlakova Secures Finals Spot in 2025 World Championships with Strong Comeback from Fifth Place

Burlakova qualified for the decisive race by securing fifth place, with a time that fell short of the leader by 1.759 seconds. Another Russian competitor, **Ekaterina Yevlanova**, finished ninth in the qualification phase, falling behind by 2.547 seconds and missing out on the top eight. The final in this event is set to take place today.

The top spot in the event was claimed by Dutch athlete Hanne van de Velde, who also set a new world record.
