Holger Rune Withdraws from Stockholm ATP 250 Final Due to Injury

Danish tennis player and world No. 11 Holger Rune was unable to reach the final of the ATP 250 tournament in Stockholm, Sweden, due to an injury. He withdrew from his match against French player Ugo Humbert (ranked 25th) while leading 6-4, 2-2. It has been reported that he sustained an ankle injury.

The match lasted 1 hour and 29 minutes. During this time, the Dane converted two out of five break points, served four aces, and committed three double faults. In contrast, Humbert managed to convert one out of six break points, made two double faults, and hit two aces.

In the final, Ugo Humbert will face the winner of the match between Denis Shapovalov (Canada) and Casper Ruud (Norway).
