Introducing Kisuke: A Native IDE for iOS That Empowers On-the-Go Coding

Developers known as kyon have announced Kisuke, a native IDE for iOS. This tool enables users to write code directly on their iPhones, utilize the features of the Claude Code chatbot, and establish SSH connections through an integrated terminal. The release date is yet to be revealed.

The creator of the project mentioned that he often comes up with ideas while out for walks, but lacks a laptop to experiment on the go. Although terminal applications for iOS could provide a solution, they are not always user-friendly and may lack essential features. With no other options available, he decided to create his own solution.

Kisuke includes:

— a code editor with syntax highlighting;
— a browser featuring developer tools;
— an integrated Claude Code chatbot;
— a terminal supporting multiple tabs;
— SSH connectivity to external sources;
— connections to an external host for accessing a virtual environment (the creator uses his MacBook for this purpose).

Users can already sign up for the waiting list. The creator will begin granting access soon. The application is developed in Swift.
