2025 Sber Cup Finals in Esports Set for August 23-24 with Exciting Competitions and Prizes

The main stage draw for the «Sber» Cup of Russia in esports has taken place. This year, the tournament features three disciplines: Dota 2, Tekken 8, and Counter-Strike 2. The qualifying rounds for Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2 will occur from July 12 to July 20, 2025, while the crucial matches for all three games, including Tekken 8, will take place from July 26 to August 3. The finals are scheduled for August 23–24 at the VK Play Arena in Moscow. The total prize pool for the tournament amounts to 5.2 million rubles.

In 2025, the title sponsor of the Sber Cup has also introduced special awards: «Best Contribution» (Dota 2), «Incredible Moment» (Counter-Strike 2), and «Combo» (Tekken 8). Each category will feature a monetary prize of 50,000 rubles. The champions of the Sber Cup in Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 will receive direct entry into the final stage of the «Sber» Open Cyber Sports Games, bypassing the qualifiers.

Additionally, the finals of the individual events for the «Sber» Russian Championship in esports will take place on July 19 and 20, 2025, at the VK Play Arena. Matches on July 19 will be held without spectators, while the arena will open to the public on July 20, requiring prior registration for attendance. The prize pool for this tournament is set at 2.5 million rubles, and the overall prize pool for the «Sber» Russian Championship totals 5.6 million rubles.
