OnePlus Unveils Nord CE 5 Specifications and Launch Details Ahead of July Release Alongside Nord 5 and Buds 4

The OnePlus Nord CE 5 is scheduled to be unveiled in India on July 8. Prior to its official introduction, the company has shared essential information about the device, including details about its processor, camera capabilities, battery performance, and charging options. It will launch alongside the OnePlus Nord 5 and the OnePlus Buds 4 TWS earphones. OnePlus has verified the battery life specifics of the earbuds. Availability information for these new devices has also been disclosed, with certain specifications for the Nord 5 and Buds 4 already confirmed.

Availability of OnePlus Nord 5 Series and OnePlus Buds 4

The OnePlus Nord 5 will be available for purchase in India starting July 9 at 12pm IST, while the Nord CE 5 will be accessible beginning July 12 at 12am IST, as indicated by a press release from the company. These new smartphones, along with the OnePlus Buds 4, will be sold through the OnePlus India website, Amazon, and physical OnePlus stores.

Notable Features of OnePlus Nord CE 5

The OnePlus Nord CE 5 will feature a 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex processor, accompanied by a Mali-G615 GPU and LPDDR5X RAM. It will come with a substantial 7,100mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. The device is reported to reach a full charge from 0 to 100 percent in just 59 minutes. A quick 10-minute charge is expected to allow for up to six hours of YouTube watching.

Additionally, OnePlus has mentioned that the Nord CE 5 will support bypass charging. The device will also include Battery Health Magic, a charging technology tailored to «smartly» manage battery charging to maintain its health and prolong its lifespan.

On the photography front, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 will boast a 50-megapixel 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT-600 primary rear sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). It will have support for up to 4K video recording at 60 frames per second. The camera system will incorporate the same RAW HDR and Real Tone technologies from the OnePlus 13 series, as highlighted by the company. Furthermore, Ultra HDR will be supported for Live Photos as well.

Specifications of OnePlus Buds 4

The OnePlus Buds 4 are reported to offer a cumulative battery life of up to 45 hours when used with the charging case. Independently, the earbuds are claimed to last up to 11 hours on a single charge. The TWS earphones will also feature fast charging functionality.

The OnePlus Buds 4 will provide user-friendly touch controls, including slide gestures on the earbud stems for adjusting volume. They will support Steady Connect technology, which is designed to maintain a reliable Bluetooth connection even in outdoor settings. Additionally, the earphones will support Dual-Device connectivity and Google Fast Pair, alongside an AI Translation feature.
