Spartak Acquires Goalkeeper Maxim Pavlenko from Ryazan-VDV

Spartak has acquired goalkeeper Maxim Pavlenko from Ryazan-VDV in exchange for a financial compensation. This information was shared by the club’s press service via their Telegram channel.

«We welcome Maxim Pavlenko to the Moscow Spartak family and wish him success in his future career!» the club’s message stated.

The 23-year-old netminder participated in seven matches at the recent World Championship representing Kazakhstan, after which he signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins’ AHL affiliate. Over the past two seasons, Pavlenko has played for the VHL team Ryazan-VDV, where he appeared in a total of 32 games, boasting a save percentage of 91.9% and a goals-against average of 2.44.
