Honor X9c 5G Set to Make Waves in India: Launching July 7 with Impressive Specs and Exclusive Amazon Availability

The Honor X9c 5G is set to debut in India later this month. The manufacturer has disclosed the launch date along with the color variants and essential features. It will boast a 108-megapixel main rear camera, a robust 6,600mAh battery, and a curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon in the country. The Honor X9c 5G is anticipated to replace the Honor X9b in India and was first launched in global markets in November 2024.

In an official announcement, Honor confirmed that the Honor X9c 5G will be released in India on July 7. It will be exclusively up for grabs through Amazon starting July 12. This model will come in two color options: Jade Cyan and Titanium Black. According to the announcement, the phone will feature an 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage configuration.

Key Features of the Honor X9c 5G India Variant

The Honor X9c 5G will, like its international version, be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. It will run on MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15, which includes the Magic Portal feature to facilitate cross-app interoperability. Additionally, the device will be integrated with AI tools such as AI Motion Sensing and AI Erase.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Honor X9c 5G is designed to feature a 108-megapixel primary rear sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, offering up to 3x lossless zoom along with optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS). The device will showcase a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a 3,840Hz PWM dimming rate. The display will also hold TÜV Rheinland certifications for Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light compliance.

The Amazon microsite dedicated to the Indian variant of the Honor X9c 5G indicates that it will carry SGS certification for drop resistance and an IP65M rating for dust and 360-degree water resistance. The smartphone will measure 7.98mm in thickness and weigh 189g. It will be powered by a 6600mAh silicon-carbon battery supporting 66W wired fast charging.
