Google Calendar Launches on Apple Watch, Bringing Event Insights to Your Wrist

Google has launched a Calendar application for the Apple Watch. The app is available for free on the App Store.

The Apple Watch version of the Calendar is designed solely for viewing scheduled events. To add new events, users must utilize either the smartphone app or the web version.

On the main screen, users will find a list of the day’s events. Event cards are color-coded and arranged chronologically. There is also an option to view a list of events for the entire week.

Each event card contains additional details, including the event duration, location, and a list of tasks associated with it. Users can also add Calendar widgets to their watch face, which display upcoming events and the current date. Scheduled events are further visible in the smart notification stack.
