Jessica Pegula Clinches Her Ninth WTA Title at Bad Homburg Tournament

The third-ranked player in the world, American Jessica Pegula, has captured her ninth career WTA title. On June 28, Jessica triumphed at the WTA-500 tournament in Bad Homburg, Germany. In the final match, she defeated Polish tennis player Iga Swiatek, ranked eighth, with a score of 6-4, 7-5.

Earlier in 2025, Pegula also claimed victories at tournaments in Charleston (USA) and Austin. In 2024, she won in Toronto and Berlin, while in 2023, her titles came from Seoul and Montreal. In 2022, she was victorious in Guadalajara, and in 2019, she won in Washington.

Next, Jessica Pegula will compete at Wimbledon. In the opening round, she will face Italian tennis player Elisabetta Cocciaretto.
