Fritz Faces the Toughest Challenge: Outmatched by Alcarazs Game

The fifth-ranked tennis player in the world, American player Taylor Fritz, has identified his toughest opponent, choosing between the world number one, Italian Jannik Sinner, and the second-ranked Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.

«I would say that Carlos is the toughest opponent for me, but I must clarify that when we played at the Laver Cup last year, I faced a more challenging version of him, where it felt like there was nothing I could do. While it’s true that Sinner has beaten me quite convincingly on multiple occasions, at least in those matches I felt like I could compete. However, at the Laver Cup against Carlos, I felt that for 80-90% of the match, I was unable to do anything,» Fritz’s words are quoted by The Guardian.
