Nikita Zadorov Ranked Among Bostons Weakest Links by Sportskeeda

Russian defenseman for the Boston Bruins, **[Nikita Zadorov](#)**, has been identified by Sportskeeda as one of three players the team should consider moving on from.

«Unfortunately for Boston, Zadorov’s performance hasn’t matched the power of his shot on goal. The Bruins were hoping to acquire a version of Zadorov who played a significant role for the Vancouver Canucks during their playoff run in 2024. However, his results have returned to his career averages. While Zadorov wasn’t terrible, his $5 million price tag raises questions about his worth to the team. His contract runs through 2031 and includes a no-trade clause for this season,» said analyst Nestor Kiksan via Sportskeeda.

According to Kiksan, the weakest links in Boston, in addition to Zadorov, include Swedish forward **[Elias Lindholm](#)** and the club’s general manager **[Don Sweeney](#)**.

The 30-year-old Zadorov played 81 games for Boston in the 2024/2025 NHL regular season, scoring four goals and providing 18 assists, totaling 22 points. He ranked fifth among Russian defensemen in scoring during the regular season.

It is worth noting that Boston finished second to last, in 15th place, in the NHL Eastern Conference standings last season.
