The 45th-ranked player in the world, Alexander Bublik, has claimed the championship title at the ATP 500 tournament in Halle, Germany. In the final match, he defeated Russian player Daniil Medvedev, who is currently ranked 11th in the ATP standings. The match concluded with a score of 6:3, 7:6 (7:4).

The contest lasted for 1 hour and 21 minutes. During the match, the Russian athlete served 11 aces, made three double faults, and failed to convert any of his two break points. Meanwhile, Bublik recorded 11 aces, committed five double faults, and successfully converted one out of four break point opportunities.

It is noteworthy that this victory marks Bublik’s first career win against Daniil Medvedev. The title in Halle is also the fifth career title for the player representing Kazakhstan.
