On Friday, Huawei Band 10 made its debut in India. This smart band is designed to provide as much as 14 days of battery life and comes in options of polymer and aluminium alloy cases. It features a 1.47-inch AMOLED display shaped like a rectangle, complete with Always On Display functionality. This wearable tracks metrics such as sleep, heart rate variability (HRV), and stress levels. Additionally, the Huawei Band 10 includes an Emotional Wellbeing Assistant. The device was introduced in several global markets in February.

Pricing and Availability of Huawei Band 10 in India

The price of Huawei Band 10 in India begins at Rs. 6,499 for the polymer case variants, whereas the aluminium alloy versions are priced at Rs. 6,999. Nonetheless, the company is offering a special launch promotion until June 10, allowing the polymer and aluminium editions of the band to be purchased for Rs. 3,699 and Rs. 4,199, respectively. All models are available exclusively on Amazon within the country.

The Huawei Band 10’s Black and Pink variants utilize a polymer casing, while the Blue, Green, Matte Black, Purple, and White options are made from aluminium.

Specifications and Features of Huawei Band 10

The Huawei Band 10 is equipped with a 1.47-inch AMOLED rectangular display that boasts a resolution of 194×368 pixels, a pixel density of 282ppi, and support for Always-On Display. The display allows for swipe and touch actions, complemented by a side button for easy navigation. It includes 100 ready-to-use workout modes, encompassing activities such as running, cycling, yoga, swimming, and more, alongside an accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer.

Positioned as a suitable option for swimmers, the Band 10 is claimed to have a 95 percent accuracy rate in detecting swim strokes and laps, thanks to its nine-axis sensor and AI-powered stroke recognition features. The smart band is rated at 5ATM for water resistance and is compatible with both Android and iOS platforms.

In addition to other sensors, the Huawei Band 10 features optical heart rate and blood oxygen level (SpO2) monitors. The device is capable of tracking sleep, HRV, sleep quality, and stress levels. Inbuilt breathing exercises are also part of its offerings. With the help of the Emotional Wellbeing Assistant, users can receive timely wellness tips and may be suggested calming or positive watch faces.

Huawei asserts that the Band 10 can operate for up to 14 days on a single charge and requires just 45 minutes to achieve a full charge. A five-minute quick charge can provide up to two days of use. The smart band has a thickness of 8.99 mm and weighs 14g.
