Salesforce Welcomes Key Members from Moonhub Startup to Bolster AI Hiring Tools

Salesforce has recently **hired** a portion of the team from the startup Moonhub, which focuses on creating AI-based tools for employee assessment and recruitment. Initially, TechCrunch **reported** that the CRM giant had acquired the startup, but Salesforce later denied this claim. The publication speculates that Moonhub might simply shut down.

Founded in 2022, Moonhub has launched several AI agents aimed at recruitment, collaborating with Fortune 500 companies. Within Salesforce, the Moonhub team will be instrumental in advancing the company’s AI strategy, including the Agentforce initiative.

Some members of Moonhub’s team from Menlo Park, California, will be joining Salesforce, which was one of the startup’s early investors.

At the end of last month, Salesforce **acquired** Informatica, a cloud data management company, to enhance its capabilities in AI and data infrastructure, with the deal valued at $8 billion.

Earlier the same month, Salesforce **purchased** the London-based firm **Convergence.ai**, which specializes in autonomous AI agents.

Moonhub offers various tools that assist companies in evaluating and hiring job candidates. The startup’s AI can identify potential applicants, engage with them, and aid in onboarding and other related tasks. Moonhub has raised $14.4 million from investors, including Khosla Ventures, AIX Ventures, Day One Ventures, GV, and Salesforce.
