ZOTAC MAGNUS: The Ultimate Compact Mini-PC with RTX 5060 Ti and Wi-Fi 7

ZOTAC has quietly expanded its ZBOX E-series mini-PC lineup with the introduction of the new MAGNUS model, designed for users who seek desktop-level performance in a compact form factor. As is often the case, the price and release date of this new offering have yet to be announced at the time of publication.

The standout feature of this model is its GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card, equipped with 16 GB of GDDR7 memory and a 128-bit bus. This GPU is paired with a 16-core Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor, capable of reaching clock speeds of up to 5.1 GHz. This chip is part of the new Arrow Lake generation and is optimized for AI workloads and multimedia tasks.

With an impressively compact chassis measuring just 2.65 liters (210 × 203 × 62.2 mm), the MAGNUS houses 16 GB of DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM RAM, which can be expanded up to a noteworthy 96 GB. It also includes a 1 TB NVMe M.2 SSD. Additionally, there’s an extra PCIe 4.0 x4 slot available for installing a second solid-state drive.

In terms of connectivity and interfaces, the MAGNUS is on par with or even exceeds flagship laptops: it offers one HDMI 2.1 port and three DisplayPort 1.4a ports, supporting up to four displays simultaneously (including 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz), two 2.5G Ethernet ports, a Wi-Fi 7 module with SMA connectors for external antennas, Bluetooth 5.4, and five USB 3.2 ports along with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, plus support for 8-channel audio over HDMI.

The system is equipped with an active cooling solution and a 330W external power supply. It will be available in fully assembled versions with Windows, 16 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD (ZBOX-EN75060TC-W4B/W5B), as well as a barebone configuration (ZBOX-EN75060TC) that allows users to install their own memory and storage.

The MAGNUS is ideal for anyone looking for a powerful yet compact desktop PC, whether for software development, 4K content creation, or gaming with the latest titles. The capability to connect an eGPU is likely unnecessary, as the built-in RTX 5060 Ti already offers ample power. Additionally, Wi-Fi 7 and advanced video output features make this mini-PC an excellent choice for use as a home media center, workstation, or versatile «quiet» gaming mini-PC.
