Motorola Unleashes G86, G86 Power, and G56: Feature-Packed Smartphones with Powerful Dimensity Chipsets

The Motorola G86, G86 Power, and G56 were introduced in selected regions on Thursday. The Motorola G86 and G86 Power exhibit many similar characteristics. Both of these devices are driven by a Dimensity 7300 chipset, feature 120Hz AMOLED displays, a primary 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 camera, and are built to meet the MIL-STD 810H durability standard. In contrast, the Motorola G56 serves as the entry-level device within the G-series, boasting a 120Hz LCD display, Dimensity 7060 SoC, and a 5,200mAh battery.

Pricing for Motorola G86, G86 Power, and G56

The Motorola G56 is available at a price of GBP 199.99 (approximately Rs. 22,900) for the model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It comes in four Pantone-approved colors: Black Oyster, Dazzling Blue, Dill, and Gray Mist.

The Motorola G86 and G86 Power are priced at GBP 280 (around Rs. 32,200) and GBP 299.99 (about Rs. 34,500) respectively. The devices are offered in Pantone-approved colors Cosmic Sky, Chrysanthemum, Golden Cypress, and Spellbound.

Specifications of Motorola G86 and G86 Power

The dual-SIM (nano SIM + eSIM) Motorola G86 and G86 Power feature nearly identical specifications. Both devices flaunt a 6.67-inch Super HD (2,712 x 1,220 pixels) AMOLED display with a pixel density of 446ppi, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screens achieve a peak brightness of 4,500nits (HDR), are HDR10+ certified, and cover 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut. According to Motorola, the displays are safeguarded by Gorilla Glass 7i.

Both smartphones are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. The Motorola G86 features 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, while the G86 Power offers options of up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. They both come pre-loaded with Android 15.

Regarding camera features, both devices have a dual rear camera configuration, including a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. Additionally, both phones include a flicker sensor and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls.

The dual-SIM (nano SIM + eSIM) Motorola G56 comes with a 6.72-inch full HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) LCD display featuring a 90Hz refresh rate and a pixel density of 391ppi with a 20:9 aspect ratio, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. It is driven by a MediaTek Dimensity 7060 processor, boasting a 2.6GHz octa-core CPU and an IMG BXM-8-256 GPU.
