Рекордная очередь на вывод из стейкинга Ethereum угрожает ценовой стабильности актива Translation: Record Exit Queue from Ethereum Staking Poses Threat to Asset Price Stability

The queue for validators withdrawing from staking the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization has reached a record 2.4 million ETH, valued at over $10 billion.

Due to the sudden spike in requests, the waiting time for withdrawals has exceeded 41 days. This has raised concerns about potential downward pressure on the asset’s price, which has increased by 83% over the past year.

Notably, Grayscale has joined the staking queue, contributing 272,000 ETH worth approximately $1.21 billion. According to analysts from EmberCN, the company holds a significant portion of the coins awaiting activation.

The withdrawal queue is about five times larger than the entry queue, which currently contains around 490,000 ETH and has a waiting time of over eight days. However, the stability of the network is not under threat—over 1 million validators are still operational, holding 35.6 million ETH, or 29.4% of the total supply.

Ilya Kalchev, an analyst at Nexo, commented for Cointelegraph that these figures reflect Ethereum’s transformation into a «profitable and recognized institutional asset.» He noted that corporate and institutional entities already hold over 10% of Ethereum’s total supply, while inflows into ETFs in October exceeded $620 million.

For reference, on October 7, Ethereum’s price reached $4700. In this context, analysts at XWIN Research predicted the asset could rise to $10,000.
