According to the exchange, the rate of growth is accelerating: the first 100 million users were gained in nearly five years, the next 100 million took just over two years, and the most recent 100 million were added in 18 months. In July, Binance celebrated its eighth anniversary with 280 million users.

Every day, more than 180,000 new clients join the platform.

He noted that this growth reflects a global shift of cryptocurrencies into the realm of mainstream financial instruments. Teng remarked that governments and institutional players are increasingly engaging with the industry—something that was «almost unimaginable» a few years ago.

Co-founder and co-CEO of Binance Yi He expressed that the company’s next milestone is to achieve 1 billion users globally.
